- Marcel Florestal
Marcel Florestal is the founding member of the firm. He is a graduate
of the City University of New York (B.S., Accounting) and Fordham
University School of Law (Juris Doctor) where he was co-editor of
the Fordham Corporate Law Journal. He is also a Certified
Public Accountant. Mr. Florestal is admitted to the Bar of the State
of New York and the United States Tax Court.
Mr. Florestal is a member of the Tax and Entertainment
Law Sections of the New York State Bar Association, the Association
of the Bar of the City of New York, the New York County Lawyers
Association, and the American Bar Association. He is also a founding
member of various not-for-profit organizations.
Prior to attending law school, Mr. Florestal was
employed with EMI Capitol Music Group where he gained vast experience
in the Entertainment Industry. Some of the notable contracts that
Mr. Florestal handled while at EMI include those of Tina Turner,
Garth Brooks, and Bob Seger. Subsequent to law school, Mr. Florestal
practiced tax and estate planning with Deloitte & Touche, Tohmatsu
LLP.
Mr. Florestal is a proponent of giving back to the
community. Accordingly, he contributes his time, money, and effort
in assisting various non-profit organizations, counsel underprivileged
youth, and provides pro bono legal services to underrepresented
communities.
